Hello -
I am brand new to this forum and have come here hoping I can find a solution to my little dilemma. I am trying to play xvid-encoded avi files on my G2, and am having no luck. With each player I have tried, there is no picture and garbled-beyond-recognition audio, yet the player progresses through the file anyway. Because each app handles the file in the exact same manner, I'm inclined to believe that it's due to a codec or two being absent, but I can't find anything in the Market that seems to be what's missing. For what it's worth, all files I've attempted to play back were encoded by me on my PC using AutoGK, with audio just regular old 2-channel MP3.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
