Help Do Androids Dream...

I had a dream last night in which I was desperately trying to contact a friend over a matter of life and death.

I woke up abruptly, grabbed my LG Vortex on the nightstand, and bent the micro USB plug on my Monoprice portable charging pack. Now, the wall charger won't charge my phone, and the portable charger makes my phone shut off and not charge when plugged in.

Did the vividness of my dream wreck my Vortex?

And if you try another cable? I've gone through a lot of monoprice cables with this phone, they bend easy and make it hard to get a connection

I'll try another. I've been through 2 crappy World of Wireless cords and now these two units from Monoprice. The phone's about a year old, which seems to be the life expectancy of phone nowadays.
