Do body gloves affect signal?

Do they reduce the signal strength? Does the phone have to work harder to compensate?

I have one on my HTC desire and i sometimes wonder the same thing. Although my finance has a gel case on hers and our reception seems to be about the same.

Slightly, just because its an obstruction. But not enough to drastically affect it. Unless of course your case is made of lead.
