Help Do I Have To Update

Hi this may sound dumb, and sorry if it is.

I have a LG G3 running 4.4 KitKat when lollipop came out I upgraded but I did not get on with it so I went back to 4.4 and waited for marshmallow, now that's almost here.

"My question is" will I need to upgrade to lollipop and then to marshmallow OR will it just update strate to marshmallow ??????

It's LG D855 in the UK and not tied to a network.

well it would depend if your still getting the nagging update thing from lollipop...if you accept that one then you go to lollipop but if you haven't and you receive the marshmallow one then that's the one your getting or yo can just download the update.zip for marshmallow and use that.

Yes I still get the flashing update for lollipop on OTA and LG PC Suite.
Where would I get update.zip for marshmallow???

You'll get the updates in the order that they were released. There's no skipping.
