Help do i loose my updated android lollypop version after resetting my android tab?

hello
i have Samsung tab 4 and it was on kitkat version . recently Samsung offered update to lollypop 5.0 and I updated and now running on lollypop 5.0.1 .
i want to clean my device to get rid of lot of unwanted datas to free some memory. so my question is do i loose my lollypop version and go back to kitkat or my lollypop version will remain unaffected? i scared of loosing new lollypop , so suggest me frens.

when I purchased this tablet then it was kitkat . lollypop is updated version so I am wondering if I factory reset then will it go to kitkat back ? or updated lollypop will be retained ? sorry to ask again

No, it will not revert, it will just come up on the current software version that is installed.

As the first 2 replies said, no, your OS version will not change back.

All that a "factory reset" does is erase user-installed apps and data. It does not affect the system software in any way.

No, it will stay as lollipop, its like buying a new tablet with lollipop already on it. Hope that helps!
