Do I need to buy a new phone (charger)

I have bought 2 chargers for my zte phone they'll work then my phone say please reconnect for faster charge.
Just wondering should I buy a new phone or is there something I can do to fix it.

They are originals also my phone be overheating

I get that message when trying to charge with a standard (non quick charge) adapter. Are you using a fast charge/quick charge capable adapter/charger?

Just put your charger and phone in the fridge. That will fix it. Coming from the owner of zombie tablet that has been resurrected that way.
