Is it necessary to unlock the VZW Galaxy Nexus? I'm not talking about the boot loader, I mean getting an unlock code from VZW so you can use the phone on another network. I remember reading somewhere that it's not necessary with this phone.
It's a CDMA/LTE hybrid which is very difficult to take to another carrier. Even if you did get it working, it would be 3G only because it only supports one LTE frequency and only Verizon uses that frequency amongst CDMA carriers.
