Do new phones from Ebay count for rebate?

So if I buy a phone from ebay thats new could I still use the rebate form from Metro? I know it requires a receipt and I am sure I can get a receipt from the seller.

I wouldn't unless perhaps the seller was a Metro store and None of the Spirits I've seen on The Bay have been from any Metro source.

You have no way to know the rebate wasn't already sent in for other than to trust the seller if he says it wasn't. One new phone on Ebay a prospective bidder asked about the rebate and was told the seller had already sent it in for that phone. By the time you'd hear the bad news from Metro, I'd be too late to file a Fleabay complaint.

You won't find one cheaper on The Bay than Wirefly anyway. Ebay Spirits have consistently been selling for HIGHER than the Wirefly price.
