Do Not Disturb allows phone to ring when connected to Bluetooth

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21+. Do Not Disturb mostly works, but when it's on and someone calls, if my phone is connected to a Bluetooth speaker, it RINGS through the Bluetooth. When not connected to Bluetooth, DND works and no ring occurs.

This seems like a bug.

I have been through all my DND settings and there are no exceptions at all. Is there any way to prevent the phone from ringing through my Bluetooth-connected speaker when DND is on?

Lurker, I'm not understanding you're logic. You're saying that DND means don't disturb me through my physical phone, but go ahead and disturb me through a connected BT speaker? Makes no sense. Why would anyone want that?
