there is an update for SuperUser on the market please read the reviews before you update people are losing root access....fyi

i read through all the reviews, it doesn't break root it just has an error for some people blocking root access not giving a prompt. you just clear the apps data reload it and make sure its set to prompt. also make sure your binaries are updated.

Once I uninstalled the market updates and blocked the market updater and was finally able to download apps again and thus SU was able to update, I've had no problems with it.

I retract that statement. I still can't download updates and my super user never updated, I just thought it had.

I've no idea if this will help, or if it makes any type of difference, but I recently used a more updated gapps than the one Jerry links to in his Backside post. Can't hurt to try!

The one linked up top for CM7, dated 8-28-2011: goo-inside.me - gapps downloads
