do the ibeats that came with the rezound work with the galaxy nexus

Do the stock ibeats that came with the rezound work with the Samsung galaxy nexus, do all the the buttons on the controler work (media controls and call controls) also does the mic work, please answer
 
Currently the ibeats only work with HTC beats phone. The only set that I know of that is fully compatible with android devices are the Klipsch S4A. $99 but the audio is up there with Bose and ibeats.
 
It has one button that can be programmed. For example, if I push the button twice it'll skip the track back once or restart the song. Three times will skip the track. When I hold the button complete down it'll control volume up/down. To answer calls u just push the button.
 
Is this my only option are there any other headphone with three button controls that work with the gnex are there any three button control adaptors that work with it
 
The klipsch S4A's are your only option that I know works completely. You can use your standard iphony earbuds but there's a trick to using then.

- To be able to control tracks just plug them right in. Doing this you only have control of the tracks and not the volume or mic controls.

- To have control of the mic (for incoming/outgoing calls) hold down the + & - at the same time while inserting the earbuds into the earphone jack. Remember this option will eliminate you from controlling tracks but you'll be able to answer calls and talk.

The S4A's controls are very simple once you program the buttons to however you want them. Hope this helps.
 
I got a pair of the Rezound's iBeats from a friend and have had no issues with compatibility. The music controls all work, including volume control for the mic. I must say, they do sound amazing. I've compared them to the Klipsch S4's and IMO they produce a deeper bass while still sounding crisp in higher frequencies.
 
My wife has a Rezound and the iBeats that came with hers work perfectly on my Nexus. No issues at all with any controls or the mic. I use them all the time to listen to music and talk on the phone.
 
The stock beats that came with the rezound do work with the galaxy nexus flawlessly all three buttons work properly but you have to get headset button controller to use volume control its very customizable you can have the 3 buttons for a variety of different actions
 
Yeah I'm definitely in the market for some headphones. I'm thinking beats by dre tour with control talk. Anyone tried these with the gnex, opinions? Pondered the thought of some Bluetooth wireless ones but worried about quality. I also need to be able to take calls with whatever I get.

Or you could just flush 300 $1 bills down the toilet. You can get much better headphones, and better looking ones for the same price or cheaper. Try: P5 headphones - Bowers & Wilkins | B&W Speakers

You can get them for a better price on Amazon.com too.

That's good. If your going to spend $300 on something like that don't just pay for a logo. The sound on those headsets are some of the worst you can get. Sure, they look cool (to some people)... but that's really all your getting.
 
I've priced the freedoms or sportsband by jaybird at 120 with shipping from expansys.CA

The only other options I've considered at this time are the moto HD either 9 or 10 and the LG Tune but I'm not sold on having the plastic band around my neck.

Are you looking for noise canceling or just headphones with bluetooth? I don't know if you have to be able to hear during work...

no, only 1 button remotes work. the other buttons wont do anything. its a limitation of android. you can take any 1 button remote and make it do what you want by getting an app called headset button controller
