Do you get lag doing the following?

Even with the lag fix I still get lag doing the following, sometimes it's not bad, other times it just takes longer than I think it should:

Hold down on home screen, create shortcut, select applications

Does it take a little before the list of apps comes up? Is this normal?

I'm rooted with lag fix applied (one click). It seems to be a little better than before the fix but still lags eventually pulling up the app list.

Thanks

I experience the same thing. I don't have lagfix applied though, only unleash the beast.

I've noticed that the first time I create a shortcut, it takes awhile for the lists to populate. Once I've finished adding 1 shortcut, if I do the process again to create another shortcut, the app list populates much faster.

Yes.

Same thing here, almost like it is generating a list of applications.

No lag here doing that, at least not yet. I only have about 15 installed right now - that might be why

This.

It's the only lag I've really experienced before or after the lag fix.

I have it too, i think it may be an Android thing cause my Droid X does the same thing in the same situation

How many apps do you have? like previously stated most likely takes a second to load up all the apps for the process and visualize the icons.

Well after doing a wipe, removed all AT&T bloatware, lag fix and a few other tweaks I've pretty much gotten rid of the lag and it comes up instantly now, this with pretty much the same amount of apps installed minus the AT&T bloatware.

It's not like it hinders for a second or so, it takes 25-30 seconds for me and I have 115 apps.

Par for the course. I have I dunno, 30-40 apps and it can take up to 10 secs to do the list. Just bear it and do your shortcuts one after the other so it caches the list in memory...

It's funny how quickly we get spoiled with a fast-responsive phone like this one!

Actually it can be avoided all together by just opening your app drawer, holding down on the app and placing the shortcut on your desktop that way.

:)
