Do you scroll the wrong way on your laptop now?

Scrolling on an Android phone makes sense because it's like you're physically sliding the page upwards. However, now that I'm used to doing that, when I get on my laptop and start to scroll with my touchpad, sometimes I find myself scrolling the wrong direction. On a touchpad you drag downwards to go down on the page, or to slide the page upwards. So it's backwards from the motion you would make on your phone.

I just that it was kind of interesting. Am I the only one?

You know what, I actually started getting confused about this on my laptop the other day, thought I was going crazy as I couldn't understand why I kept scrolling up instead of down. Now this makes sense!!

Or start touching the laptop screen. My netbook had multitouch and it was as annoying as using an iphone so I disabled all the extra features.

I use desktops much more often than my laptop, but I still have the same issue using the scroll wheel on my mouse. I am constantly scrolling the wheel up to go down, especially at work when I'm typically using the phone and working at the same time. I've been addicted to that wheel for years, and took my Droid less than a month to completely reprogram me.

I don't, but I do try to touch icons on my netbook. I never do on my PC, though I'm thinking it's the portability factor that messes with my head.:D

Yeah I touch my laptop screen all the time now. ha! I even touched a television screen at the store the other day to try and start a DVD movie. (Dork)

LOL,... no you're not the only one,... and now,.. I don't feel quite as goofy,.. knowing that it's happening to others also. too funny

I do not have an android phone yet, but i use a plugin for firefox called grab and drag that give a behavior similar to the "touch scrolling" of mobile devices, and now I feel uncomfortable when i use a browser that does not support this kind of control.
I't just a matter of usage amount and confort I think.

Personally I've never tried to use my laptop screen as a mobile phone whether it's android or otherwise.

I've never tried to touch my laptop screen other than to clean it.

Nobody *ever* touches my computer monitors ... and lives. :D

I use the "Grab and Drag" Firefox extension on all my computers; I sometimes forget to use the scroll wheel in other applications (in Okular it starts zooming, ugh!).

I whole-heartedly recommend "Grab and Drag"! :)
