Do you think Home is a better option than the Echo?

I just picked up the Echo Dot to see how it compares against my Google Home, but I was wondering what everyone else thinks about this comparison.
Do you think Home has more potential despite being a newer product? Or does Amazon have a stranglehold on the market for now.

I don't have an Echo, but I'm pretty happy with Home.

@Berndfuchs , Bose doesn't support direct control (yet) but I have seen some pretty innovative setups using IFTTT.
