Root Do you think LG will update the L70?

lol, I know, that post was months ago :D I know about L90, we'll also get Lp somewhere in Q2.
Hey men, i got this actualization, you have the ame on your l70?? I want to know if it is actually lollipop and also if you installed already??

Man if it is lollipop i might try it, if not oh well. I'd like to know also
You have the same notification already man?? Im a little insecure because as i tell in other reply don't want to loose root, of course that i want to try it buy i need someone to tell me if its actually lollipop, this guy from Lg's live chat support told me that was, but i dont know... maybe someone else has to try it first...

So you want someone else to try it and lose their root, keeping you safe? Hm... Nice thinking.

I agree zlaja84 however, i think he may be able to tell us if it is or not. I would totally howver dont have a backup and am a bit unsure of how to flash completely back ti stock. And @Soden download the update or go into info. I know for me on my tablet (samsung) it said lollipop when it was downloaded. Also what size is it?

Well, he (and we) cannot know until he bites the bullet and install it, because its only him who received such an update.
But word of warning, it's always safe to first flash latest stock kdz, that is to revert it to factory state, because root and traces of root might mess up the update process. You have been warned :)
I would love it to be lollipop, but I highly doubt it, that chat guy seems misinformed, imho. Let's hope I'm wrong and we have official lollipop :)

One more thing @Soden, as relyt said, download it, and I think the actual update file is located in the cache. Then again, if it IS actually lollipop, it couldn't fit into the cache, because cache on stock is 200MB big, iirc. Lollipop update couldn't possibly fit there, so I think that lp update should be done via PC lg manager. Just my two cents here.

Lol you guys still hoping lg will release lollipop for the l70 ahah. C'mon marshmallow is rolling out soon, why would they do the update now. Just go to CM12.1 or CM13 i never went back thanks to Vm03 and @zlaja84 who developed it.
