I'm sure they will at some time to try and lure some new customers in and then do as they did before and take it awayI had Verizon last Fall and had the share plan with only 2gb of data. Not only was this not enough data but in my opinion it was crazy expensive.
Just a question: do you think Verizon would ever consider going back to unlimited data? Why or why not?
Verizon or AT&T will never go back to unlimited data.
It would be a bad business move if they did, and they are not stupid.
Sure it angers their long standing customers to have to either pay full price for a new phone or go to shared data plans, but these 2 companies have us over a barrell and we have no choice. We can choose when our contracts are up to go to Sprint or Tmobile, but in reality, for the majority of us, these two smaller companies can not meet our data and coverage needs by a longshot.
Soooooo.... bottom line is they will never go back because they can make far more money with shared data plans, and we basically have little to no choice if we want reliable coverage and data speeds.
