Do you turn off your phone....

...when charging overnight? I keep it on and usually just need to reboot once or twice a week when it seems to slow down.

Is this OK for the phone, ( seems to work out for me ) and what do most of you do?

Yes, I keep my Triumph on. I've also done this with my iPod touch which I've had for over a year now, and battery life is just as good as the first day I got it. I don't think this is bad for the phone, and is actually what they expect you to do.

I keep it on 24/7 so I don't miss a call as my MT is my only phone. I also plug it in at home regardless of battery status so it's always full.

I keep mine on, but every 3rd day or so, I power completely down and back up. I recommend doing this.

I also find running Advanced Task Killer, and 1Tap Cache Cleaner once a day to be helpful.

YMMV.

There are people that will tell you to let the Android OS itself manage memory. But this is the real-world with lots of different programs from different sources. They aren't screened like they are on the Apple OS before making it to iTunes App store.

Both actions, periodically rebooting, and between power-cycles running Advanced Task Killer and 1Tap Cache Cleaner has kept my MT running responsively.

I keep mine on all the time and just let it charge overnight. As of late I've been getting 3 or 4 days without having to reboot from issues but I'm not a heavy user by any means.

I keep mine on all the time but at least once a week, generally Friday night, I will let the battery power down till the phone shuts off then let it charge overnight and turn it on either in the morning or if I wake up for a bit in the middle of the night and notice the charging light is Green. I haven’t had to reboot because it is running slow since the first few weeks I owned the phone. If you find your phone is running slow you should also try reading up on your installed apps. I wanted to throw my phone in the river those first few weeks but then I read that Firefox will slow down and cause reboots on most phones. Uninstalled the app and haven’t had problems since. With that said I also rooted and installed auto killer but some time had passed before installing so I’m fairly positive Firefox was causing the issue.

I should probably also add that I noticed that apps that have been running in the background for awhile had a tendency to be hung-up and would not only slow things down but would require to be stopped and then restarted when I actually wanted to use the app. Because of this I kept Advanced Task Killer despite recommendations that it is not needed with Auto Killer. With that said I kept Advanced Task Killer with the purpose of periodically restarting apps to avoid the problem stated above. I have it set to kill all my apps every 3 hours excluding apps like Juice Defender witch for the most part seems to have done the trick as far as not having to close and reopen those hung-up apps. Killing every 3 or 4 hours seems to be working out OK, no need to be constantly killing apps that are just going to restart themselves 2 seconds later.
