Do You Turn Your Phone Off?

Just wondering if you guys ever turn your phone off? I've been in the habit of turning my phone off after work each day, on my Nokia at least, but thought that maybe this isn't recommended for the HTC.....

I personally never turn it off, for no other reason than I may miss a call

I reboot mine (desire) just because its a smart phone and should reboot them from time to time really.

Other than that, its always on.

I turned mine off for the first week after i got it, to save battery, but then found airplane mode, and the wifi still works in airplane mode, so i havent turned mine off since
apart from a reboot

I'm restarting mine when it seems just a tiny bit sluggish.

A bit of a tangent but has anyone else noticed that, on starting, it makes the the loudest alert sound it can, just as the 'Quietly Brilliant' slogan appears on screen.

I always put mine on silent before a restart.

Re-booting increases available memory. Download advanced task killer and see for yourself how available memory gradually declines over days. A re-boot puts memory back to about 200M

Try the Silent Boot app if you don't want to hear the start-up sound
