Do you use a case or pouch?

Thinking of getting a case to protect my Optimus and was wondering what you all use, leather, sock, pouch or shell? and what do you think would be best? I use a Golla bag with my old phone but it's very tatty now.

Silicone cases are in my opionion the best. They work by obsorbing the energy.

They do look good but the screen is always exposed, won't it get scratched easier?
