Just to weigh in on the ipod/phone debate. I have a nano. Love it for playlists and easy docking with some portable speakers that I have.
On the other hand, I'm really a podcast junkie. And nothing beats being able to grab new podcast episodes on the fly through my wireless phone.

I just downloaded yesterday an app called isyncr that syncs your playlists from itunes to your droid phone. Here are the step by step instructions to download. So far it has worked very well.
