Help Dock Battery Issues

I'm having some issues with my keyboard dock. My whole setup is a refurb but it's only a week old. I have the AD01 version of the dock. For the past couple of days I charge the dock and tablet to 100% (overnight charge) and then I leave the tablet plugged into the dock virtually all day. I usually don't touch it after 5pm and when I check on it at 11pm I've noticed the past two days that the tablet is fine but the dock is in the red...even though I haven't touched it and the tablet hasn't been on, hence it doesn't need to pull from the dock. These are days that I barely use the tablet...IE an hour of use maybe. I read that there are problems with other docks and the tablet not entering sleep mode but I didn't read that for the AD01. Any ideas?

Does your tab get warm when this happens? Have you ruled out the fact you might just have an app using a lot of battery?

What happens if you leave it undocked? Does your tab battery tank then?

I no longer have my tf700t, but my experience is the dock battery does deplete first. I also had the AD01 dock.
