Help Dock mode and driving mode

2 questions:

1. What is driving move and how do I enable it?

2. I have the multimedia dock. How the heck do I disable the generic dock screen? I want it to default to my normal lock screen, not the dock screen.

Few days ago... I started to hear voice prompt like "Received one email"... I have no clue what happen why it gives me these voice prompts. So annoying. Then I google around to find out it was the "Drive mode" that I tapped on... :/

Where did you enable this?

Mine is Tmo version. These are the icons on top of the notification pull down

WIFI
Bluetooth
GPS
Sound
Screen Rotation
Power Saving
Airplane mode
Driving mode
Sync

Sprint version does as well!

I use PhoneWeaver (great program) to switch profiles. Driving Mode is a selection and I use it in my "Car Profile". Even though Sammy decided to leave out (forget) to put it in the notification bar, the functionality is still there and it works like it should.

on Verizon I have

Bluetooth
GPS
Sound
Mobile Data
Screen rotation
Power saving
Airplane mode
Driving mode
Sync

On mine, unchecked, keeps the dock screen with the clock and blue background from loading. It stays on the home screen then goes to sleep after your set time. Black screen.

The dock screen looks a lot like the lock screen, but it is different. It has different apps across the bottom of the screen. Also, when on the dock screen, you can hit Menu to edit what is on the dock screen.

I'm using widget locker for my lockscreen, not the TouchWiz mess. That's my fault for not clarifying. I want my widget locker lockscreen, not the regular 'dock lock screen' or the TW lockscreen.

Only thing I could think to do then would be uncheck the box in settings, set your phone to never sleep, then put your phone on the lock screen before docking. Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion, but I don't see it. Sorry.

You can also download an application "Dock Simulator" which will trick the phone into and "out of" dock mode be it Driving or Home. I am using this at my desk to put the phone into desk/home dock mode since I do not have a desktop dock.
