Docs2Go Full Version Question

Hi...

Just about to make a purchase of Docs 2 Go or some other such app to read and edit Office 2010 docs.

I was looking through the Docs 2 Go website and I can't see that the full paid version is optimized for tablets...unless I am missing it.

The only suite that I found in the Market optimized for a tablet is Think Free Office - but the few reviews about it are scathing.

So, my questions are:

(1) Does the full and paid version of Docs 2 Go work well on tabs, particularly the A500?

(2) If the answer to #1 is negative or even "not really", then what are my options?

Thanks

QuickOffice HD should also work for you. It came preinstalled on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. It works great for my needs!!!!!

The paid version is nothing more than n unlock key for the free version so just give it a try before you buy. I have it and find it works very well on my xoom.

Well, Docs2Go (free version) came preinstalled on my A500 tab. As you know it is read-only. There seems to be no way to try the full version. I am guessing the same is the case with the other options which is why I was asking about the user experience.

Basically, my needs are the following:

(1) I often work with Word docs that are 200-300 pages long (primarily text). These have lots of footnotes and sometimes, there are images embedded in the document. I need to work - edit/ manipulate - with such documents. The same applies to other Office docs - not so much Excel, but certainly PPT.

(2) I would like to use my A500 in meetings to take notes and later to integrate them into Word and PPT docs.

(3) Finally, these docs need to be synced with my laptop - either through USB and/ or via Drop Box or something like that with minimal (to the extent possible) problems in formatting (including footnotes etc.) at either end.

Thanks
