Documents to Go

Appologies if I've come onto the wrong forum, I'm new at this.
I have just installed Documents to Go (DTG) on my Desire but when I try to download a Word document that's attached to an email in gmail the default 'Quickoffice' app takes over and unsuccessfully tries to download it. Does anyone know how to make DTG the default app when trying to download 'Office' docs.
I've tried contacting DataViz but get nowhere. And yes, the app I'd definitely installed and active as I can create word /excel/PowerPoint etc on my phone. I have the full paid, unlocked version.
 
^ yep.

Then the next time you open one of those files, it will let you choose which app to use with a checkbox for 'make default'.
 
Thanks. I had a look in applications through settings but couldn't see Quickoffice. Could it be listed anywhere else? When I open a document that's already on the phone I get asked which app I'd like to use to open it, but for some reason when I try and open an attachment in gmail I don't get asked and Quickoffice has a go.

Did you tap the all tab? That shows every app installed on the device.
