Help Does 4G LTE Require a Special SIM Card?

Hi guys, I just moved from an AT&T Galaxy S2 (non-LTE) to the AT&T HTC One X I bought off-contract from Amazon. Do I need to buy a special SIM card to use LTE? So far, I cut my regular SIM card to a micro-sim and put it in the HTC One X. Everything works so far but I can't access LTE.

EDIT: I'm in the Bay Area.

It uses a micro sim card. It is really small.hope this helps

I had the same issue, then i realized AT&T network just sucks and is not available around me. The rep at the store also confirmed this for me, so the issue is probably not your phone. If you get in LTE coverage are it will just work and display the LTE icon. I live in Acworth GA, its a suburb of Atlanta.
