Does a factory reset sign out of your google account?

Or does it only delete the contents of the phone while remaining signed in? I am asking because when I chose to do a factory reset it told me that I was signed in to my google and dropbox account. I didn't understand if the phone was telling me that I will be signed out of these accounts after the reset (warning me), or if they will remain signed in. For the record, I need to be signed out of all accounts because I am selling this phone.

A factory data reset signs you out of your google account and from any other app you're logged into..

On my google dashboard this phone is still showing up under the Android section. Does this disappear over time?

Unless you remove it from the dashboard it will stay there as part of your history.

There doesn't seem to be any option to do this. I guess it doesn't really matter though.
