Does a UK T-Mobile Pulse work in USA?

I am visiting the USA shortly for a holiday. Will I still be able to make/receive phone calls and use the Internet?

It is a quad band phone so should work. Make sure you switch off the internet though. It can be expensive using it abroad as you will be charged per MB.

Thanks for confirming the Pulse will work in the USA. Since I posted the original message I have updated my Pulse to a Nexus One which I'm sure will also work in the USA.
