Does ACT sync with Droid X?

I just recently bought a Droid X an was told that there is no problem in syncing with ACT. I have downloaded a 14 day trial of Companionlink and cannot get my database of contacts, calendar etc. to sync with Driod X. Anybody have any suggestions out there?

When you connect your phone to the USB cable to perform the sync, what mode is your USB connection set to. You can see this in the pull down notifications bar on the phone when it's connected to your computer with the USB cable.
