Root Does Android 2.3.3 need Lag fix

Newbie
Hi,

I upgraded by I9000 to Android 2.3.3. I rooted the device and installed Ryanza's OCLF from android market for $3. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for 2.3.3. Does anybody know another way to install a lag fix for android 2.3.3?

Thanks in advance,
Prasad

Um... flash a kernel that supports it?

Supercurio's Voodoo kernel? Semaphore? Dark Core?

Thanks robogo. I will try one of those. I wonder if 2.3.3 actually needs the lag fix? Has anybody seen an increase in performace by installing the lax fix?

I have.

Without lagfix 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 work quite well, they don't lag like, say, 2.2.1. But I still applied the lagfix... cause it just works :D

So to answer your question: no, 2.3.3 doesn't NEED lagfix. Should you enable it? Yes. :D

Well lagfix is an old way that is not used anymore.
Some still say lagfix when they mean changing filesystem.
And yes the phone still needs it if you want it to be fast.
