Help Does anybody else have any issues with their Droid 2 becoming very hot in the back?

Its not even during heavy use, whenever i just load up the main page to the touch facebook site it gets warm, then progressively hotter, also when it is charging. I have only had the droid 2 for less than 24 hours (my first one was doing the same thing, then kept restarting, then stopping working all together within 8 hours). I havent installed any apps or roms or anything of the sort, just basic phone operation.

I notice it gets somewhat hot when I'm driving with it plugged in, using navigation and Pandora. Do you have GPS turned on? That's seemingly a real energy hog when not needed, and it wouldn't surprise me that alone could contribute to some heat.

Yeah im used to it always being on on my ally ill turn it off and check it out

It did a little bit to help the heat problem, but didnt help the phone from shutting off and not turning back on for hours. Verizons refurbishing center (which i used to work for) is a joke. You have to test EVERY feature on the phone, including but not limited to: Headphone port, speakerphone, virtual keys, physical keys, ringer, proximity sensor, SD card reader, camera, on phones like the droid all 3 keyboards (lateral, horizontal and qwerty) all in a little over 60 seconds. 50 phones an hour. The first 5 and a half hours you go without any break and no food allowed on the floor. And this is in america, in dallas texas. I dont know why they use such a terrible company

Using the phone in the car dock for GPS while running any other apps usually makes my phone nice and toasty.

low reception and streaming makes it hot too... i drive an hr to work and stream online radio through the car's AUX and it makes it quite hot, doesnt bother me since all of my droids have done it.

Yea i used to have a full encompassing case for my Ally that i just realized just now might have been a deterrent from me realizing the heat in the past, i just got freaked out because they kept winding up not working i guess ill just have to grow accustomed to it now.
