Does anybody know if I can freeze this app without my phone bricking? software update com.lge.android.atservice

Any advice would be appreciated.
My phone is a MetroPCS LG Stylo 3 PLUS

that's a software update. it is not an app. is your phone rooted?

Yes I'm rooted. I had that info in the post originally but must have overlooked putting it back in when I redid the post.

I'm rooted and don't want the update. That app is running it, if I freeze it will the update notifications stop?

Do you have a custom recovery? If so take a nandroid backup then try freezing. Worst thing that can happen is you have to restore from the nandroid.
