Ever since I started using HelixLauncher, I kind of missed a few aspects of sense. I wish the whole bottom section of helix was on sense, so I could keep the widgets and other things. But then I started thinking about things that should be excluded, like scenes. Does anyone here actually use scenes and switch enough to justify their existance? I know I don't.

The first time I saw it, I switched through a few just to see, realized I could save my own, then never messed with it again. Am I the only one?

You know, at first I thought it was pretty cool. I messed with it twice and never did it again. I just dont need it.

Yeah I always think I'll make different scenes for whatever I'm doing but changing between them isnt super fast and with 7 screens anyway I'm not sure what I would put on there anyway? oh well I think it took me like 2 weeks to figure out what everyone was talking about with the scenes anyway :)

I honestly do not know what scenes is. I do not see it on my phone under my apps at all. Can someone please help me or atleast tell me what it is?

On the home screen press the menu button and you will see the option. It is kind of like having a built in home switcher so that you can have different widgets, icons, backgrounds, etc. One for work, one for music, one for play, etc.

I have used them, but only when traveling.

When i press menu button from home screen. I have the following options: All programs, scenes, add to home, wall paper, notifications, and settings. When I click scenes its just for me to change my background or theme.

Yea it's a pain in the butt but money is tight right now, when the incredible comes out I might convince him to add a second line. ;)

Anyone else using helix launcher wish you could have the bottom part of it (the 4 stuck shortcuts and the app drawer tab) just on sense, or is that just me?

Scenes is a great option. If you don't like it don't use it...like any other facility built into modern phones.

1. I agree that 7 screens on the Sensation HTC is sufficient and I don't need more.
2. I use the scenes option to build new experimental interfaces with the features which I want to try out. If I develop a scene which is better than my basic (old style) design, then I can switch without messing up my useful daily interface.
3. HTC sense offers the new design to arrange the interface by person or subject rather than web site or applications. This means that I can group together all links for each friend and family rather than having to switch between applications. I am still trying this out on my secondary scene and I may transfer to this if it works well. In the meantime I am continuing to use my primary scene. Without scenes I would have to mess up my current interface to experiment.
