Does anyone else get drag when you want click?

My biggest irritant in the android interface is trying to click an item in a list and apparently having my finger come in at an angle or move a bit or something and it decides I'm actually trying to scroll the list not click on it.

My only option at that point seems to be to take my finger off the screen, wait the half second or so for it to decide I'm no longer dragging, then try clicking again.

Is this just me, or do others encounter this?

I wonder if all the new improved UI operation in Jelly Bean will have an effect on this?

I have noticed it, it helps if you just tap (just once) rather than press on the screen.
