Does anyone know what this error message mean when trying to connect to kies using the usb cable?

"Cannot install this hardware
There was a problem installing this hardware:
Android MTP
An error occurred during the installation of the device
A service installation section in this INF is invalid
Click finish to close the wizard"

Lies is the worst firmware updation tool. That's the only purpose for which kies is required rest all the things like data transfer from. phone can be one by using the UsB please odin for updating firmware. Even I was earlier scared to to use odin but later out was a smith ride and today ian on 2.3.4 with all p

Thanks, I agree and yes, updating firmware is the only reason I was trying to make it work. One other thing that won't work on this phone. I also wonder if part of the problem is being tied up to a network provider, tmobile in my case.
