Does anyone remember this launcher?

I remember using a home launcher replacement app that consisted of bars that the user moved up and down. Each bar was a type of widget that contained updates for a specific app (email, Facebook, SMS, calendar, etc.).

The home screen was one column and each row contained a color-coded bar. The user could add and remove bars as needed. Dragging a bar up revealed the updates that the dragged bar was responsible for. One bar for SMS, one bar for calendar, one bar for Facebook, etc.

This launcher was designed for connected content rather than icons and widgets.

Does anyone remember this launcher? I can't seem to find it in the play store

OK, just found out that the name of this launcher was SlideScreen.. and it has been discontinued.

There is a nice screenshot and video here, so I'm hoping someone knows of a similar app: http://slidescreenhome.com/

I would love to have something like this.

try action launcher (which also has a cool way of doing folders, called covers. Basically each folder has a "default" action/app that you get by clicking. If you click on it and slide away it opens it up, and you can launch one of the other items in there. Thats a full launcher app (pro and free(?) versions)

The other one is called home-flip (or flipper cant quite recall) this one is used in conjunction with a launcher, and basically lets you bring up the scrollable list of items from swiping from a particular spot to launch it.

There are aspects of both I really like, ideally i'm trying to find an absolutely minimal launcher and go with home-flip (which dev has stated is free, and will never have adds). i think both are on google play, but i came across them on xda.

I think i like the scrollable list a bit better on action launcher, but there is just something about home-flip that makes me want that one more (from memory i think you can access the home-flip scollers from any app, but the trigger point does sometimes bug me a bit, maybe if they could make it a triple click in that spot, or double click and swipe on the second).

Hmm might pop back to xda and post a suggestion or two for home-flip :)

I'm not sure they are 100% the same idea as Slidescreen, but it made me immediately think of them, and if you like slidescreen i reckon you'll be very happy with these :)

You mentioned two apps, but neither of them provide the functionality I'm looking for. Was the OP confusing?
