Root Does cpu master work with the latest ct mod?

I am asking because voltage control overheats my phone way too much i swear out even smells like a flammable fume of some sort

Yes. AnTuTu CPU Master will work. Some people have had issues with it and Voltage Control both losing their settings though. Usually if one won't work the other will.

Oh no. There are a bunch of apps out there that will do the job. SetCPU is one, ROM ToolBox is another with a bunch of extra stuff that comes with it. You can just do a search and find out what all is available. Just make sure that only 1 of them is running so they don't conflict.

But how do you uninstall V. control?, because it is a system app.

Use Titanium Backup. Make sure that you wipe data first before removing it. There is a way to remove it from the ROM zip and replace it with CPU Master but I'm not gonna go into that. That just might confuse you so I'm gonna keep it simple.
