Help Does Cyanogen(kitkat) mod for S3 has these features?

I've read that Samsung S3 will have all the air gestures like the s4 when it gets the KitKat update soon. I wonder why doesn't Cynogen mod have those.

I understand that the TV out is proprietary.
 
Same thing mate, the air gesture is proprietary too. Same with the TW camera :(

How does the air gestures work? I thought it was a hardware thing in the s4?
 
Both s3 and s4 have the Proximity sensor which is used for air gestures. I think Samsung promised to give all(most of them) the s4 features to the s3 with the official KitKat update. I managed to find an external app from the play store for the S3 to answer/reject calls using gestures.
 
Right I thought the s4 had a digitiser like on the Note phones that could detect something hovering over the screen or something.
If it's prox sensor gestures then yeah there are third party apps but Samsung's app is owned by them. If CM merged that into the rom they would get sued very quickly.
CM can't even include proprietary Google apps which is why we have to download and flash a gapps package separately :thumbup:
