Does Dolphin Mini browser use less data that the HD version?

Currently i use Dolphin HD and UC Browser mini when at work to keep data costs down, dolphin seems to take up a lot pof data so i try to use it when just on wifi.

I noticed most of the mini browsers say they use 90% less data, uc says it, opera mini etc..

I looked at dolphin mini but it doesn't say anywhjere they is manages data use any better, or compresses it etc..

Does anyone know if it does, or is the dolphin version just a smaller version of the full one and offers no compression for data?
