Help Does froyo slow spica down?

I wanted to ask if updating the os version to 2.2 slow the samsung spica down?

Generally, android 2.2 makes the phone run a lot faster. However, with older, less powerful phones like yours, it may not make a difference at all.

Issues are : You have to root your phone to get 2.2 , thereby losing your warranty. But then again its extremely rare anyone has bricked (turn the phone into a useless piece of hardware , which can never be repaired state). So its up to you to decide!
But 2.2 is definitely worth it!

i hawe 2,2 but this rom is eatin ram an slow down a system faster than 2.1
