Hi, on this phone if I have the gps switched on, but nothing is actually using it, ie. the gps symbol is not shown in the info bar. Does it use the battery?
No It's not... I keep GPS on at all times on my phone. It provides a better performance for most applications that require it. And it makes "wireless network" (wifi) works a lot better. Personally, I dont see any significant battery drain with GPS on.
