Does HTC Hero work with ATT sim card?

I'm hoping someone out there has tried this already. I'm starting to worry because I see everyone online using the T-Mobile sim card (obviously G1 users), and I'm with ATT.

Hoping I don't end up with a nice phone that I can't use.

Yes but you won't have 3g data since the phone does not support either US band

so even if you went to tmob with the phone it would still only have edge data speeds


you might also look into the hero if it comes to rogers wireless in canada (get an unlocked phone from someone there and use it with AT&T)
