Does it come with a sim card?

I just got a new Galaxy S3 today. When i opened the box....no sim card. The phone had a note that said you need a sim card before turning it on to recognize the network etc.......should it have come with a sim card? How do I get one?

depends how you bought it
if you bought it on some sort of "plan" from a telecom the yes, should have one.

if you paid for it outright (paid several hundred $$$ for it) then no. you need to go to a telecom to get one and sign up to their service
