Root Does Midnight ROM drain anyone else's battery?

For some reason, the Midnight ROM drains my EVO V's stock battery more than twice as fast as the VM Shooter ROM. I thought it was the battery but when it drained my second battery, it had to be the ROM. It's a great ROM with many perks but I can't seem to even last 2 hours of straight usage without it dying out on me.

Has anyone else with the Midnight ROM experienced this before?
 
If you are on the current version yes it does have a massive battery leak in it. But it's not the roms fault. I've been with it since its first release never had a problem till now. It's the Kernel tuner, there's a update for it but the sites down.. The tuner is the reason for horrible battery..
