Does Moto G show call duration?

If it doesn't, is there a trustworthy free app which can give this information without sucking a lot of power out of the battery?

Is there any other apps worth looking at?

Are you talking about during and after the call? I get a toast notification of how long the call lasted. I'm on CM11 right now, but I seem to recall that I did get some kind of notification on stock as well. You can also go into the call history and see just how long a call lasted.

After the call, being able to see how long the call lasted.
When I look at history I can't see any option to see how long the call lasted.
Am I not looking in the place?

There is a clock symbol to the right of the name. Click on that. It'll show the duration.

Maybe it's a cyanogen thing then. can someone on stock chime in and assist?

That's the button I use to get to history. Then once in history, there is a clock icon to the right of each name.

sbdc003 is correct, it's a bit buried but it does exist in stock.
