Help Does my equipment have WIFI issues or is it the application?

I'm having an issue with the FOX News application and I'm wondering if I have a problem or whether the app is having an issue?

I have a Motorola Droid Turbo and a Nexus 7 tablet. When I connect both of them up to my 1 GB WIFI from AT&T I would expect them to both render the FOX News application home page very quickly both neither do. Instead, I see the app clocking and it takes forever for the page to finally render. If I shut my WIFI off on my phone and the phone switches to Verizon's 4G network the home page renders very quickly so this makes me wonder what is going on. Note that I have flushed the cache on both my phone and my Nexus and even after upgrading to Android 6.x I did not see a change in performance under WIFI. Note that the Associated Press web site and other web sites that use WIFI don't seem to perform any differently under WIFI vs 4G. Can anyone that has the FOX News app installed tell me what they are seeing on WIFI vs. 4G.
