Does not sync with Win7??

I use something called Companionlink. It cost me $50 but without a full sync the S3 wasn't an option.

Worst $50 I ever spent on software. The sync is random and the support is a joke. This software is not ready for the big time.

There are a lot of apps that will allow you to synch various aspects of the phone to a PC. Google, mail, contacts, calendar already do automatically.

You need to be more specific about what kind of problem you are referring to:

1) If your PC doesn't see your SGS3 as a phone or as a removable device - then install kies in order for the Samsung usb drivers to be installed. You need to go here and find on the left side of the page "Kies for Windows" : Kies - Sync Media, Contacts & Calendars Across All Devices | Samsung
After you install Kies and restart the PC it will read the SGS 3 normally.

2) If you are referring to synchronization of Contacts you could upload all your contacts from any phone in gmail and from Gmail to SGS3. Go to Gmail open contacts where it is written "Gmail" on the left side -> Then under that you will see import contacts. Most companies use Csv type files for contacts. After that you just enter your email from your phone and give synchronize contacts with Gmail and it takes merely 1 minute to synchronize 1000 contacts. I did that last week for a friend.

3) In Kies or kies air you can synchronize music, contacts, messages and pretty much everything. But to be frank it is times faster if you just copy/cut and paste your folders/files through the windows explorers and use your phone as a simple usb. My phone is perfect for transfer small and big files quickly.
