Does rooting actually deletes the imei no. I heard that rooting will void ur warranty. If i root my phone and later do a factory reset will samsung come to know I have previously rooted if they examine my phone?
No rooting does not delete the IMEI number. If you root improperly MAYBE, but highly unlikely. It would void your warranty, but if you reset your phone to the defaults then Samsung would never know! Unless you modify some system files.
Some warranties actually require doing a factory reset before submitting a device for warranty service. (This is probably to ensure that nothing you did with the software is the cause of the problem). But in any case, if you do a factory reset, the device probably becomes unrooted, and the manufacturer would have no way of knowing that you had previously rooted it.
