Does S3 audio stop when playing another

Sorry if it has been asked, tried searching but could not find it. On my iPhone, if I'm listening to audio, and decide to play a video or audio from another app, the audio from the first app will automatically stop. Does the S3 do this? Android devices I have had in the past, would just keep playing, so you end up with two audio sources playing at the same time.

Yes, it does. At least it did when I switched from playing the stock music app, to pandora, to google music, to YouTube. I can't speak for all apps, but I would suspect that it would.
