All are noobs who say Galaxy Ace doesn't have Gorilla Glass.

I'm using the phone over 10 months without any screen guard or frame guard.

I am a very rough user. My side frame silver coating has worn out at the edges and also some scratches. But my glass is crystal clear. Not even a single scratch.

So I recommend not to use any screen guard to this phone. It is awesome

And yeah, they say the phone comes with only 1 back cover. But when you open it *todah* you can see two of them

I agree. The only concession to this is that I use a leather holder with foldover flap, so, when its in my pocket, the screen is covered (especially when my keys are in there too!)

just registered to let you all know that as a result of all the yes and no answers about the screen i took my keys to the screen and pushed with medium pressure scraping the keys all over the screen for 5 minutes

the results are some what conclusive

the screen has no scratches at all !!

also i have had the phone for roughly 3 months, the back and metallic sides are really badly scratched from being dropped/kicked/knocked and having loose change hitting it in my pocket

this phone is pretty solid is the best phone i have had since my old phillips c13 (around 2002 i think i had that phone) both of which have flown from a car window at 40mph and survived with little to no damage unlike many of my other phones that i have dropped from pocket height and they have got heavily damaged and or stopped working
