Root Does Serendipity 5.8 ROM Support Landscape Homescreens?

I was just wondering if Serendipity 5.8 ROM supports the landscape homescreen like Cog 3.04 does. I really like that feature.

i have tried several roms, and honestly i dont think i found one that DOSNT go into landscape mode in the homescreen

Well, it's not the ROM that goes into landscape on the homescreen, it's the launcher. The default launcher for serendipty, the AOSP launcher, does NOT go into landscape while on the homescreens. However if you use launcher pro or another launcher you can have that functionality.

yeah i have ADWlaucher....but ive also used launcher pro. i never use the default launcher

Precisely. I use LauncherPro - I quickly restore everything after flashing because I'm so used to the functionality it's jarring to see how things come out of the box!

so true. yesterday i went back to stock and i played with the phone for about an hour before getting back to serendipity. it was nearly unbearable!

Another vote for LauncherPro (donate!). I too turn off landscape in the homescreens, so it's always locked to portrait.
